    Mr Alaa Badawi

    I was born and raised in the Bride of the Mediterranean, Alexandria. I graduated from its prestigious university with a Bachelor of Arts and Education in 1995. I began my teaching career the same year and have continued in this profession ever since, working in various schools in Alexandria.

    Later, I applied to work in Oman, driven by what I had heard about the generosity and tolerance of its people. I first worked in Al Buraimi for five years, then moved to the capital, Muscat, where I joined United Private Schools. I served in the Al-Muna branch for nine years as an Arabic language teacher in the secondary section. This year, I was promoted to the position of Head of the Arabic Language Department at the branch.

    I have been greatly pleased by the spirit of warmth and cooperation I have witnessed among the Arabic Language team. In conclusion, I pray to God Almighty to grant us success in serving this great institution, United International Private Schools.

    أنا الأستاذ/ مبروك رمضان عبد العزيز مكاوي؛ أنحدر من أرض الكنانة ومهد الحضارة والتاريخ، ومن أعظم وأقدم الجامعات الإسلامية “جامعة الأزهر الشريف” حيث العلم والمعرفة والثقافة الإسلامية، منهج الوسطية والاعتدال والأمن والآمان، الجامع الأزهر الذي جمع بين جدرانه وأروقته كل المذاهب والطوائف الدينية على مر التاريخ والعصور.

    ومن هناك من جامعة الأزهر الشريف اكتسبت المعارف والعلوم الثقافية والدينية بداية من السنوات الأولى التي قضيتها بالأزهر داخل المعاهد الدينية إلى الدراسة التخصصية بالجامعة على مدار أحد عشر عاما داخل الأزهر الشريف وعلى يد علمائها ومشايخها.

    واتماما للمجال التربوي التحقت بـ “جامعة القاهرة” وحصلت منها على الدبلوم العالي في التربية من قسم الدراسات العليا، ترسيخا مني للعمل التربوي والتدريس على الوجه الأكمل.

    ومع شغفي لتدريس العلوم الشرعية الذي استمر على مدار أكثر من عشرون عاما، بجميع المراحل التعليمية، حققت فيها من الإنجازات العظيمة ومنها تكريمي لأكثر من مرة داخل سلطنة عمان كأفضل معلم للتربية الإسلامية علاوة على الأنشطة والمسابقات القرآنية المختلفة.

    وحاليا وبكل فخر ما زلت أقدم رسالتي التعليمية بكل حماس وبجانب ذلك وبكل فخر أشغل منصب رئيس قسم التربية الإسلامية بالمدارس المتحدة الخاصة، ولا تزال رحلتي في تشكيل وتكوين فكر هذا الجيل مستمرة على القيم والمبادئ الإسلامية.

    كقسم، نحن أسرة متماسكة، نعمل كفريق وبشكل تعاوني لضمان وصول كل طالب إلى أعلى إمكانياته في العلوم الإسلامية إلى جانب القيم والأخلاق، ونسعى دائما داخل القسم لتقديم صور متعدد للعملية التعليمية بشكل متطور.

    ومن هذا المنطلق أحب أن أشارككم فلسفتنا التعليمية مع الطلاب وهي أن التدريس ليس مجرد مهنة بل هو رسالة وشغف يؤمن به صاحبه بشكل عام والمسلم بشكل خاص فهي رسالة الرسل والأنبياء عليهم السلام.

    والفلسفة العامة لتدريس مادة التربية الإسلامية تتخطى الأمور التعبدية لتربط الإنسان بالحياة الواقعية للتخطيط وحل المشكلات، وعصمة الأبناء من الإنزلاق في المبادئ المنحرفة والدخيلة الوافدة علينا.

    وتأتي فلسفة التعليم أيضا لرفع مستوى الطلاب بالقضايا الإنسانية، وخلق جيل متميز متعلم محافظ على قيمه ولغته من خلال مخرجات تعليمية ذات جودة عالية تجمع بين عراقة الماضي وانجازات الحاضر وبناء المستقبل وفق قيمنا الإسلامية ومراعاة المعايير الدولية مع جعل العقيدة والثقافة والتقاليد العمانية هي مركز العملية التعليمية.

    فلسفة التعليم تتميز بالشمول والتكامل والأصالة والتجديد وتحقق النمو المتكامل للمتعلم بشتى الطرق.

    ورؤيتنا تقوم على أن التربية والتعليم هما الأساس لبناء الأخلاق الحميدة وتوجيه السلوك الإيجابي للفرد والمجتمع وتشكيل ثقافة الإنسان وتهيئة الوسائل والأدوات اللازمة لتحقيق أهدافه وتطوير قدراته العقلية والجسدية بشكل منتظم، وربط الطالب بهويته وقيمه.

Positive reinforcement and open communication with parents are integral to my approach. I address challenges using a balanced blend of disciplinary and motivational strategies. My commitment extends to meticulous organization of exam-related records, diligent analysis of student results, and the creation of computerized educational materials tailored to various educational stages. My educational philosophy centers on empowering students to embrace learning as an exciting adventure, fostering both their academic growth and personal development.

    As a newly appointed TAG member and experienced educator, I have been driving innovation in teaching and learning by integrating technology and AI-driven strategies to create engaging and future-ready classrooms. Since joining UIS in 2011, I have supported students in building strong academic foundations, and since the school adopted the Cambridge curriculum, I have focused on aligning learning experiences with Cambridge standards to ensure excellence and global competitiveness. Holding a degree from Damascus University–Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences, English Department, I have used my experience to enhance student engagement, foster creativity, and promote a culture of resilience and continuous improvement. While my initial contributions have focused on supporting students, I am now actively working on empowering teachers to integrate technology and AI into their teaching through mentorship and targeted professional development, ensuring instructional practices remain dynamic, inclusive, and globally competitive.

    It is my pleasure to introduce myself as the Head of the Science Department and a teacher of Chemistry and Biology at our school. With more than 24 years of experience in education across Oman and Jordan, I am dedicated to creating a strong and inspiring science program that supports every child’s growth and achievement. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Yarmouk University and have led the development of innovative bilingual curricula, while also playing an active role in overseeing and supporting the school’s international programme to ensure high standards of learning. Over the years, I have guided students to excel in examinations, supervised science fairs, and encouraged participation in national and regional competitions. Recognized by the Ministry of Education with the Best Teacher in Science award, I am passionate about making science engaging, practical, and meaningful. My goal is to work closely with parents and students to build confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.

With 17 years of dedicated experience in mathematics education, I proudly serve as the Head of Mathematics at United Private Schools. My educational philosophy centres on the transformative power of mathematics. It’s not just about numbers; it’s a universal language that unlocks doors to knowledge and understanding. Throughout the academic year, your child and I will explore mathematical concepts, honing logic, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.     My work in the Arabic Language Department or in the Career Guidance Department, which has significantly enriched my experiences and skills, required substantial effort to excel. I have succeeded in guiding many of my students, both male and female, in building their future and providing a conducive environment for shaping their personalities. I have been able to change many students’ ethical and behavioral tendencies, instilling hope, optimism, and motivation in them to reach higher levels. I have continued to support my students in their studies, from grades 10 to 12 and even through university, maintaining constant communication with them and their parents during and after school hours.

    I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education since 2004, in addition to a Diploma in Educational Qualification in 2006, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) in 2014, along with numerous specialized training courses in the field of sports.

    I believe that physical education is not merely a physical activity, but rather a comprehensive educational tool that contributes to shaping students’ character and instilling the values of discipline, cooperation, and self-confidence. Through my work, I strive to make sports a means of education before being a pursuit of competition, while maintaining a positive relationship with students based on trust and mutual respect, thereby enhancing its educational and human impact
